About
Hi there! 👋I'm Shutian Liang, a graduate from SPCS, Peking University with a bachelor degree in Psychology at 2024.
After graduation, I work as a full time research assistant at Institute for Artificial Intelligence, Peking University focusing on brain-inspired AI and generative models theory under the supervision of Prof. Si Wu. When I was an undergraduate student, I did my undergraduate research on cognitive behavior modeling under the supervision of Prof. Hang Zhang.
I'm passionate about building novel generative models and understanding their mechanisms through the lens of geometry and physics. Though my formal training is in psychology, I am actively expanding my computer science and mathematics expertise to contribute to this exciting field.
My motto: What I cannot create, I do not understand.

Hobbies
- Dogs🐶: I really enjoy playing with dogs and touching their soft fur. When I was a kid, my neighbor had a Border Collie named "Mickey" and we spent much time in my childhood.
- Music🎵: I like listening to music, especially the songs of the 80s and 90s. My favorite band is Beyond.
- Basketball🏀: When I was an ungraduate student, I was the starting point guard of the basketball team of the School of Psychological and Cognitive Sciences, Peking University. After I graduated, I still play basketball with my friends and I became the head coach of the basketball team. I organize training and design the team's strategy and tactics. Everything is brand new, but I'm really insersed in it.
